Send any changes, additions, corrections to Pokemon Requests
There has been a change to the Pokemon official website. This will help members in the signing up for a Pokemon Trainer Club Account on www.pokemon.com. What you will need:
Your POP ID
Your Pin Number
A valid email address
A parent if you are under the age of 13
1. Go to www.pokemon.com on your browser.
2. In the upper right hand corner, you will see a picture that says join now. Click on the "log in" button by the picture.
3. Now you will see two boxes.
4a. If you had an account on www.go-pokemon.com enter your username and password. You should then be taken to a screen that says your account requires activation. Press the button to send an activation email to the email account your profile had on the old site. It should arrive within 48 hours. If it doesn't, send an email to customer service with a title of activation link not sent. Your account should then be activated.
4b. If you did not have a username and password on go-pokemon.com, you will use the box on the right hand side. In the picture that says sign up, press the continue button.
5. Enter your Country and birth date. (yyyy-mm-dd) Then hit the "Next" button.
6. Fill out the rest of the form. Some terms:
Username is what you will use to log in to your account.
Screen Name is what your name on your trainer card will be displayed as.
Player ID is where you put in your ID number.
Organized Play Pin should be filled in with the characters on your card that say Pin Number.
Important If you are under the age of 13, provide your parents email address instead. Your parent will then be contacted with an email from pokemon.com titled "Pokemon Trainer Club Parental Consent Request". If they click the Grant Consent button, then they will be prompted to make an account. They then need to activate the account by the email that will be sent to them. When they do so and log in, there is an approve child page. The parent then must agree to the terms and conditions for the child.
If you haven't received an activation link within 48 hours, send an email to customerservice@pokemon.com with a title of Activation Link not sent.
